Certificate of Origin.
A certificate of origin is an official document that indicates the origin of a particular product. This can be important when exporting goods because some countries charge higher import duties for products that do not originate from a particular country.
A certificate of origin is therefore required when there is trade between countries that have agreed on import duties. For example, it is required for exports to countries that have signed preferential trade agreements, such as Turkey.
The certificate of origin must be requested from the Chamber of Commerce. It is important to do this on time because the process may take some time and the certificate must accompany the export of the goods.
